Our Vision
Goshen’s Fountain of Nutrition and Health exists to create and promote sustainable solutions to malnutrition, poor health, and poverty through empowering the individual and community at large. Goshen’s does so through engaging the community and inviting individuals to invest in their own well-being. Goshen's is committed to sharing God’s love to all those they encounter.
Nutrition
We promote nutrition using home-based nutrition care, nutrition support for malnourished children, community food demonstrations, teaching gardening techniques, and breast- feeding education. Goshen’s educates the community in hopes of preventing severe malnutrition from occurring. When cases of malnutrition are already critical we are ready to intervene with immediate nutritional support and education.
Health Education
We promote health education through our community engagements such as school health education programs, hygiene education, nutrition education, water sanitization, HIV prevention and awareness, and many other programs. Goshen’s goes into communities to educate on important health related topics.
Economic Empowerment
We seek to promote economic empowerment through teaching skills such as gardening, sewing, and making charcoal briquettes. Goshen’s seeks to help teach skills to individuals so that they can be empowered and provide for themselves and their families.
